Why do we want to dress like french women? The allure of the french women style is so popular that almost every blogger has written about it. Their effortless styling seems to be easy and uncomplicated. But its not random at all. French women seem to have a code they follow when dressing for the day. Parisian women look elegant and polished but not overdone.

You may want to pencil your brows with a strong polished line. I love wearing a bright red lipstick with just a touch of mascara. My beautiful mom has always been a red lipstick wearer. She has always reminded me of those french women who look like they wear red everyday. Sometimes i feel like its a bit much, but if i par down the rest, it seems to come out very classy. Thats where you want to be, a lot classy a tiny bit sexy.

When i think of French women wearing flat shoes i immediately think of Jackie-O and her impeccable style. French women usually don’t wear super high heels. You will see them in trendy flats of all colors. I especially like pointy toed flats that give the outfit a bit of edge while still being classy. The trick is to not overdo it.

Black Leather Jacket

A black leather jacket is a staple for the french women style. You will see them wearing it with a solid t-shirt and jeans. If course it wouldn’t be complete with some flats. You can also stay true to french women style by wearing your jacket over a skirt or dress.

Classic Bag

The classic bag for french styling can be structured with minimal embellishments. Think Chanel or Chloe and most French women will wear it in black. The French women style is usually a collection of black and white items.
