This Weeks Loves

This weeks loves are all beauty items. Beauty is an essential part of my life. I’ve realized over the years that taking care of your skin and using beauty items to enhance your look only makes you more glamourous. Some of the items came with my beauty box subscriptions and some i purchased.

Each week i go thru a different set of beauty loves. Being a beauty product junky is exciting and never dull. I’ve tried a lot of different products over the years. I mean, A LOT!

Its hard to choose my favorites each time i post the This Weeks Loves. There are so many i really genuinely love. But, i have to pick a few for this post but know i have many others i love that didn’t make it in this post.

Lets get into it.

  1. Estee Lauder red lip gloss Pure ColorĀ Envy in Red Extrovert #330

I don’t really know if this is a lipstick or lip gloss. I think its in between. If you are too scared to wear red lipstick out of the bullet, then i would definitely try this. It goes on sheer and you can build it up to more intense color if you like. Or you can keep it more sheer. Its a very true red color even as a sheer lip gloss.

  2. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Pallet

This is a cult favorite among us beauty bloggers. Its not glittery. If you don’t like glitter you are safe with this pallet. It goes on glowey. I’ve even used the darker shades for eye shadow for a subtle darker crease shade.

  3. Crown brush

I believe i received this in my ipsy box. Use this with the Hourglass lighting pallet. It distributes just enough color to your upper cheek bones.

  4. Skin&Co Truffle oil

This is a cleanser that feels like velvet on your skin. I have really enjoyed this cleanser. I received this in my Glossybox.

  5. Tarte Amazonian Clay full coverage foundation

I’ve used this foundation for a few years now. It goes on smooth and thin. It doesn’t gather in your pores and covers blemishes and other dark marks us older women have very nicely. The matte finish is great for oily and combination skin. I would not recommend this for dryer skin.

  6. Dome eye shadow in Sun Stone.

This eye shadow is not very pigmented but goes on light and bronzy. Sometimes when you get older you want lighter eye shadows so it doesn’t show your eye lines as much. Pop this on before going to work and you have an effortless look that isn’t too dramatic.

  7. Sunday Riley Luna sleeping night oil.

This is great for blemishes as its go quit a bit of retinol in it. It definitely made my face clearer and smoother. I’ve ran out and will re-purchase once i flush thru other products i have. Its a bit spendy, but it lasted for an entire year! A little bit goes a long ways.

  8. Lancome La Vie Est Belle parfum.

This has a nice floral smell that has some deep undertones. A little bit is all you need. If you spray 2 squirts you will smell like an old time french perfumery. And not in a good way. I spray this in the air and walk into it so i don’t over do it.

  9. Luxie #231 blending brush.

This is probably my most favorite blending blushes ever. It blends out the most intense eye shadows so effortlessly. I’m not sure how i got along before using this brush i received from one of my box subscriptions.
